About ArcticZymes
ArcticZymes AS has a long history dating back into the late 1980′ies with its roots solidly planted in the fishing industry of Northern Norway. Since the mid-1990′ies we became part of Biotec Pharmacon until June 2009 where Biotec Marine Biochemical AS was established as a separate company – still 100% owned by Biotec Pharmacon ASA. Biotec Pharmacon ASA is noted on the Oslo Stock Exchange under the BIOTEC ticker.
In 2011, Marine Biochemicals AS changed its company name to ArcticZymes AS.
ArcticZymes has had a long tradition for collaborating with public institutions and all our products originate from these institutions. Beyond being the primary source for new products some of our staff have actually also been engaged after being involved with collaboration projects thus documenting a successful relationship between public and private institutions.
As a private and commercial company we have a very strong belief that the best way we can expand our business is by being able to serve the customers at the highest possible level and we put a very strong emphasis on being able to meet our customers where they are and at the level they work.
We have recently reorganised and have taken the step to establish an application development department which is going to serve as a hotspot for customer inquiries as well as for our own internal application matching against our products/product candidates. We will then be able to see the use of our products both through our own eyes as well as through the eyes of the customer.
